Oaxaca will surprise you in every time of the year, but Winter is comming (21 of December to 20 of March), and here I tell you some things that you can do.

VISIT THE SIERRA NORTE (NORTHERN MOUNTAINS)

Oaxaca is the most biodiverse State of the Mexican Republic, and the Sierra Norte is a natural paradise with a template climate that can be cold and have snow.

In the Sierra Norte you can do a lot of activities depending if you are going alone, with your couple or family, there are spectacular views, walks, bird watching, routes in bicycle and other activities.

One of the zones with more services are the ¨Pueblos Mancomunados¨, but you have to verify availability.

VISIT THE SIERRA SUR (SOUTHERN MOUNTAINS)

You are going to love the towns in this Mountains, one of them is San José del Pacífico that will receive you with a magical environment, in this town you can know old practices and other things, also this town is in the way to the coast.

VISIT THE COAST

One region that has a lot to offer you is the Coast, and if you don´t like cold is your ideal place.

In this region you can do a lot of activities like snorkel and others.

Coming to the city is almost a must since it brings together a bit of the other 7 regions and the Central Valleys, you will find great restaurants, hotels and stores and a great Christmas atmosphere.

In the nearby towns you can find Monte Albán, some other towns, Mitla, El Tule and other that you can´t miss.
