In Oaxaca there are a lot of beaches like I mentioned in the last post, today I will talk about Puerto Escondido.
Is the most populated city of the coast with 45,000 habitants in 2013, in a territory of 326.246 Km².
THE MOST FAMOUS BEACHES
Puerto Escondido has a lot of coast with beaches, some are more famous and known than other and this are the most famous beaches of Puerto Escondido.
PRINCIPAL BEACH (PRINCIPAL BAY)
The most famous beach of Puerto Escondido is this one, this beach became a very famous beach in Mexico and is the closest to the road, here you can be in the beach with a very good environment, see fisher boats, get a boat ride, swim and eat fresh sea food.
CARRIZALILLO BEACH
This is a small beach that has beautiful turquoise waters and very calm. Here you can get a tour to see dolphins and turtles and to go snorkeling and diving.
BACOCHO BEACH
In this beach there are not a lot of hotels, is a more distant beach and with less people, this beach is a natural paradise and here you can do an incredible activity, release baby turtles in their habitat.
HOTELS
Hotel Paraíso Escondido: This hotel with a stile of a mexican ranch is located 7 minutes away (walking) from the principal beach, it has a view to the ocean, wifi, parking and depending of the room different amenities.
Approximate price for 1 night: $1000 mexican pesos.
Nomad hostal and beach club: This hostal is only some steps from the beach it has a restaurant and it has a very good price and location.
Approximate price for 1 night:$400 mexican pesos.
Villas Carrizalillo Hotel: This hotel is very close to Carrizalillo beach, it offers amenities, pool, view to the beach, wifi and some services to see tourist attractions.
Approximate price for 1 night:3,700 mexican pesos.
RESTAURANTS
High and medium prices.
Turtle bay: The closest beach to this restaurant is Carrizalillo. They offer sea food, mexican food and international food.
Espadín: Carrizalillo is the closest beach to this restaurant, here they offer mexican food, sea food and latin food.
Low prices.
Smoked Fish Taco: This restaurant is in the center of Puerto Escondido is economic and they offer tacos, latin and sea food.
