BENITO JUÁREZ MARKET

This place was used since the epoch of the indigenous people to interchange products, this place was bought by Manuel Fernández Fiallo, but he continued to use this place to interchange products.

The construction of the actual market started in 1893, and finished the next year. After having the name of Porfirio Díaz, the name was changed to Benito Juárez Maza in 1912 its actual name.

In this market you can find food products like chocolate, regional candy, grasshoppers, empanadas, mezcal, quesillo, nieves and water, other products like traditional clothing, jewelry, fruits and vegetables, and other things.

Built in 20 years since 1862, mainly it can offer you food, you can find the corridor of roast to delight yourself, in this corridor you can choose your piece of meat and right there they can roast it, there you can eat it with some tortillas or tlayudas.
