WHAT IS THE LEGEND ABOUT?
This legend is about an attempt of conquest by the Aztecs that thanks to the alliance between Zapotecs and Mixtecs managed to hold on, then differences arose between the leaders of these cultures, causing a wounded warrior to be found by Princess Donaji, who helped his recovery and fell in love.
Another problem arose from which the princess was killed, years later someone was walking along the banks of the Atoyac River, and saw a lily that he wanted to dig up, when he tried to do so he was surprised to find that the head of the princess was underneath and also without decomposing, it seemed that she was just sleeping.
