February 14th is close, and Oaxaca is full of places to have a nice day, afternoon or night with your couple or friends. Today I bring to you 5 places to have an incredible february 14th.
TOURIST WALKER
The tourist walker connects a lot of touristic places of Oaxaca city to the Central Park, in this street and the surroundings there are a lot of restaurants, galleries and cafe’s where you can have a nice day of Love and Friendship with your couple or friends.
This places are good for this date, they give you some privacy and are calm. In this place and its surroundings there places for all the budgets, from elegant terraces and restaurants to cheaper but equally nice cafe’s.
ETHNOBOTANICAL GARDEN OF OAXACA
Especially if you are a foreigner this place is a very good place for you, you can learn about the flora of the state of Oaxaca, its also a very good place to take pictures with your couple in the corridors and water mirrors, you can walk calmly in this spaces.
The Ethnobotanical Garden was used as a garden of the Dominican friars, and you can still see the remains of ovens, irrigation channels and the cobbled roadway.

JALATLACO NEIGHBORHOOD
Colorful and cobbled streets, that will let you get lost with your couple, with cafe’s, restaurants and even hotels, this is what this Neighborhood offers to you. You will have a romantic and nice day insured in the “Barrio de Jalatlaco“.
CENTRAL PARK AND ITS SURROUNDINGS
The Central Park of Oaxaca was renewed, the touristic surroundings and the closeness to other places makes this places a perfect place to visit. It has restaurants in the “arches of the alameda” and also street food stalls with corn, esquites and tamales.
HIERVE EL AGUA
Located 70km away from Oaxaca city, this natural wonder of which there is only other one that is similar in the world, is a very instagrammable place for pics with your couple. You can swim in the natural “pools”, go hiking or cycling and do other activities.
