STUDENT AND BENITO JUÁREZ DAMS, 2 DAMS THAT ARE PERFECT PLACES TO DO A PICNIC IN OAXACA

Located 10.6 kilometers away from the Oaxacan Central Park, close to Tlalixtac de Cabrera and Huayapam, this dams have been adapted to receive tourists, the student dam is divided in 2 accesses, by one side it has restaurants, places for kids to play and recreational activities like: rowboats, pedal boats in which you can take a ride in the dam and they also have horse rides.
By the other access the eco-touristic part, in which they have bike rent, pool, grill area, zip line and other things to do.

BLUE ROCK DAM
Located near to Teotitlán del Valle, this dam is surrounded by nature, is pretty lonely and in the lower part it has a small stream, in the banks you can do your picnic taking your own food and enjoying the local flora and fauna.

“EL TEQUIO” PARK
Located 7.5 kilometers away from the Oaxacan Central Park, in the municipality of Santa Cruz Xoxocotlán, this park has wide extension with a lot of trees, in this spaces you can do your picnic with your family.
This park is perfect for little kids, it has places for little kids with slides and other games and open spaces, making this place perfect ideal to have a nice weekend with your family, specially if you have kids.
