Hi to everyone welcome to travel in Oaxaca, in this post I am going to talk about a tourist attraction that is not so known, the dam of Teotitlán.

CONSTRUCTION OF THE DAM

The dam was built in 1968 to supply the village’s crops, but it has become something else, in a magic please with animals and plants for visiting in family as a picknick and to be in contact with nature.

WHAT TO DO IN TEOTITLÁN DEL VALLE AND BLUE ROCK DAM?

Going and enjoying a day in the countryside after visiting Teotitlán and its textiles is an excellent option, being there for a few hours watching the dam, and being with the family, and then going down to the village to see the community museum with archaeological pieces and enjoy a traditional ice cram is something you can’t miss.
