TYPES OF TOURISTS

When we travel we do tourism, because we stay in a hotel, we go to eat in a restaurant, we hire a guide, or we plan the trip through a travel agency.

But did you know that there are different types of tourists?

Yes, there are different types of tourists and what are they?

COSMOPOLITAN TOURIST:

This type of tourist is a consumer, he travels to make purchases, and therefore this type of tourist is of high purchasing power.

In Oaxaca you can find beautiful alebrijes to buy, among many other things.

CULTURAL TOURIST:

Surely if you are in this blog you have read some of the posts and here we talk about culture and much more.

Cultural tourists seek to learn about the history, culture and customs of the place to which they travel. If you are this type of tourist, Oaxaca will enchant you, in each block you will find a lot of history, because of the times of the Covid-19, there are not many customs to see but culture is not missing.

BEACH TOURIST:

Almost all of us surely like to go to the beach, or if you haven’t been there, maybe you dream of going. The beach tourist is the one who looks for places with good weather, great hotel offerings, leisure and beaches, something you can find in Oaxacan beaches, such as Huatulco, Puerto Escondido and Mazunte, among the most famous ones.

SPORTS TOURIST:

This type of tourist only plans their trips, almost exclusively to practice or watch their favorite sport.

INTREPID TOURIST:

This type of tourist seeks to travel to remote places, which very few know, is not afraid and does not say what not to do extreme activities. In Oaxaca there is no lack of such activities, going out to the Sierra Norte and Sur or any other region.

All those who like to go to the countryside, meet local people, and generate knowledge that comes from hundreds of years ago, as well as taste ancestral and country cuisine, surely will like to be rural tourists, a good option are the magic towns, but in any town of Oaxaca you can do these activities.
