Meet Alex – Your Access to Oaxaca’s Soul
I am Oaxacan by birth and at heart, raised between two cultures to bridge the gap between my home and the world. As a native, I offer more than just access—I provide an intuitive understanding of Oaxaca’s most private corners, shaped by a lifetime of navigating the vibrant contrast between local tradition and international standards.
I believe true luxury lies in the effortless. My role is to act as your cultural translator and time steward, distilling the vast soul of my home into a bespoke private journey. By blending local intimacy with world-class service, I ensure you don’t just visit; you truly understand the nuances of travel in Oaxaca.

The Beginning
This path, however, began almost by accident—out of necessity and love.
During the pandemic, when the world went quiet and our streets emptied, I started writing. It wasn’t a business then; it was a way to keep Oaxaca alive for those who couldn’t reach it. I wanted travelers to feel the warmth of our markets and the smoke of a fine mezcal through their screens. That blog became a window, until one day, a single question under a post changed everything: “Do you give tours?”
As the son of an Oaxacan mother and an American father, I realized I had spent my entire life preparing for that question. I exist at the intersection of two worlds, fluent not just in two languages, but in two ways of thinking. I understand the expectations of a discerning international traveler, and I know exactly which unmarked door in Oaxaca to knock on to exceed them.
What I offer cannot be found in a catalog. It is a private mezcal tasting in a palenque with no address on Google; a dinner prepared by a traditional cook in her own kitchen; or a morning at the loom with a master weaver who welcomes you as an honored guest, not a tourist. Throughout it all, you have the seamless ease of private transportation and local experts who answer only to you.
I take on a very limited number of journeys each year. When you travel with me, you have my full attention.
This is not a tour. This is Oaxaca, the way only a native can share it.
Oaxaca is not merely visited—it is understood. If you are ready to discover the corners of my home that don’t appear on any map, I invite you to share your vision with me.
